Welcome to the Nutmeg
Division of the Northeastern Region of the National Model Railroad
Association. All members of the
NMRA within our geographic area automatically become members of the
Nutmeg Division at no additional
cost.
The division’s
newsletter, the Nutmeg Flyer,
is issued electronically, approximately, four times per year. Please create a shortcut to our site
in you favorites folder to www.nutmegdivision.com. If you prefer to receive the
newsletter in the mail, contact Joe Sokol, 1170 Hartford Tpke., Apt.
#E-51, Vernon, CT 06066.
As of July 1, 2005, you
are also a member of the Northeastern Region at no additional cost,
however, to receive the region’s newsletter The Coupler, there is a charge of $7.00. This cost will show in a separate
line item on your renewal letter from the NMRA.
The division holds
regularly scheduled membership meetings in the community room of the
Wethersfield Police Station, 250 Silas Deane Highway, the second Friday
evening of odd numbered months
(except March and July). See the
EVENTS
page for the exact date and agenda. The division’s annual picnic will
take place at Jack Kreeger’s home in Hebron on Saturday, August 19, 2006. All division members are welcome. Plans are underway to hold a modular
layout train show in the fall.
The Northeastern
Region’s spring convention will be held in Worcester, MA,
during the weekend of June
1-4, 2006. For more
information, check the region’s convention website through the link on

Looking ahead, the
National Convention (Hartford National 2009) will be held in Hartford, CT,
July 5-12, 2009,
at the new Connecticut
Convention Center.
