Model Railroad Technical Information and Prototype Technical info for Model Railroaders – A great complement to NMRA’s recommended practices with a lot of general information for both prototype and modeling information respectively.  A must read.  At least see what they have to offer.

Mt. Gothic Tomes & Reliquary – Rare books, maps, photographs and a lot of interesting stuff from the past.  Those into trading passes or stock certificates for your model railroad get a lot of ideas looking at the authentic article here.

National Sex Offender Registry – Yes, I know that this may seem out of place here but the maps used on this sight seem to be quite old and show many tracks you do not see on modern maps today.  Great for research on old right-of-ways.

Paliz Bay railway & Navigation Co. - Here is how to create and trade e-passes with a gallery of many fine examples.

Radio Reference.com – This site shows how you can use the WIKI downloadable database in several ways to find frequencies used by various railroads and/or locations.  A good place to start is RAILROAD but there are several other pages to find what you need.  Find frequencies by railroad or Railroad by frequencies.

Subway Page – World Gateway to Subways of the world including Boston and New York.  Maps, fairs and everything you wanted to know but were afraid to ask about subways (not easy to navigate but everything is there.)

   HO Scale Webring – This is only one of dozens of various web rings dealing with model railroading.  The idea is that each ring lists several sites of a common theme, i.e. HO scale.  There are rings for virtually all scales and each SIGs.  These are a good way to attract others to your website.
