I have new wood kits.
They are called Doyon`s Structures in HO scale that I’m producing
myself. They are all wood with a paper roof and thread for the metal bands.
They are all precut wood to size with just a little sanding to square up
the ends. The instructions have pictures for each step and are easy for
quick assembly. The kit now comes with around roof but I will be making
more kits with 7 sides and 8 sides for the roof. I have in the works a
track side utility water tank, it stands 31/2`` tall. The kit that I’m offering
now retails for$22.50.
After the kit was made I
got to thinking it also could be used for different scales. The overall
measurements are 11/4" square by 3" high. In Ho scale it
is 9` square by 23` tall. In S scale it is 7` square by 16` tall. In
N scale you could use it for a track side water tank for steam, with
little modifications like adding adown spout for the water. In N scale it
is 17` square by 41` tall the base is 20` tall and the tank is 21` tall.
Over all this is a real easy kit to build, it should only take about three
evenings to build for the average builder.
